“It’s good! The wait wasn’t too long.”

“Yes, we got here in time to beat the crowd. The after work traffic is getting worse. Every minute counts, especially on Fridays.”

“I had a hectic week at work. Thank God the weekend is here!”

“I look forward to the weekend too.”

“I like the way you set your hair, now I can see more of your beautiful face!”

“Oh, thanks, just wanted to try something different! Did you notice that gentleman there? He used to come with his wife! He is here alone. I wonder what happened to his wife!”

  1. I thought a lot about the elderly man in the foreground. What is his story — maybe his wife {lover?} got up to powder her nose? His nose? With loads of oysters there, he could totally be eating alone, but maybe…. Thank you so much for joining us again this week ❤

  2. Wonderful dialogue for the photo… But I feel very sad for the older gentleman. Of course, I think I know what happened to his wife, and it makes me teary-eyed. At least he is still coming to the restaurant, even if he does have to dine alone. Again, very good conversation to make a flash-fiction story out of the picture!
